Update of the GMP+ certification at bilacon

bilacon GmbH has successfully completed the annual assessment to obtain the new GMP+ designation as "Registered GMP+ Laboratory". The new certificate is valid immediately and can be viewed on the GMP+ homepage.
GMP stands for "Good Manufacturing Practice" and is a guarantee for good quality. GMP+ focuses on feed safety and, with its integrated HACCP concept, covers all areas of the feed production chain.
As a GMP+ registered laboratory, we support you in your product safety and guarantee compliance with the performance criteria defined by GMP+ for feed analysis with our certificate.
Since January 2020, it is mandatory for GMP+ certified feed companies to have the residue analyses performed in GMP+ recognized laboratories.
As a GMP+ registered laboratory, bilacon analyzes feed for the following residues, among others. We are pleased to inform you that the pesticide analysis on the part of GMP+ has been resumed and bilacon GmbH can again offer you this analysis according to the GMP+ standards
- Aflatoxins (including aflatoxin B1)
- Pesticides with a spectrum of almost more than 750 pesticides
- Heavy metals (including lead, mercury, cadmium, arsenic)
- fluoride
- dioxins and dioxin-like PCB's
As an officially GMP+ registered laboratory, bilacon supports you in the analysis of your feed and advises you regarding your questions about the quality and safety of your products.
